Hey guys, how’s everybody doing today?
Mark Phillips 0:27
Alright, alright, so this is the SimpliSpoken on voice daily. So we are producing this flash briefing. We’re back together with you guys. And today we’re going to talk about a little bit of voice for healthcare in honor of the big healthcare information management society meeting that’s taking place this week. So we’re looking at voice for healthcare and in a lot of the conferences we’ve been going to healthcare seems to be a big track so we went to the conference in Jersey last July, we went to the Alexa conference in Chattanooga this January, they both had healthcare tracks. They’re both well attended. Folks really seemed to have a real passion for voice in healthcare. And I guess maybe I’d get your take on it John.

Is is healthcare ready for voice? No healthcare is not ready for voice. So I think there are spots but this year will tell us a lot about where the big vendors are playing relative to their utility of voice we’ve seen Nuance has been in the voice and Dragon for a long time in the traditional healthcare space, but voice as a utility as a tool for physicians or even as a tool for patients. We haven’t I believe we haven’t seen even the very beginnings of definitive research papers on good outcomes using traditional voice mechanisms to deliver care and health care?

Yeah, so that is an interesting take. And actually it is a take. That is not something that we typically hear at the conferences that we’ve attend so far. So we call that sort of the, the view from the echo chamber. And so I think what we’ll do is we’ll give you more of our take on the real deal for voice in healthcare when we talk with you guys tomorrow. So do us a favor jump on over to Amazon enable that SimpliSpoken on Voice Daily Flash Briefing. And if you get some value out of the content that we’re giving you every day, we’d love it if you could give us a nice review. It’ll help us extend our reach. Thanks a lot guys. Catch you tomorrow.
