Beauty is in the Eye of the Survey Beholder When it Comes to Voice Shopping

Alright, hey guys, Mark Phillips here with SimpliSpoken, this is the SimpliSpoken on Voice Daily Flash Briefing, and we’re back again, Happy Monday, we’re talking a little bit about a couple of voice survey things that have happened lately at least one that’s kind of interesting. And, and the title of today’s episode is beauty is in the eye of the beholder for voice shopping. And so it’s kind of funny that we have a new survey out from Sumo Heavy Industries. And it’s interesting, set a date, it looks like it’s fairly well done. They have what looks like a relevant sampling there. And the thing that we find a little bit interesting about that is that the headlines are kind of polar opposite. So you can find headlines that say we’ve got, you know, a great right thing, because we’ve got this rising trend in voice shopping. And you can find headlines that say things like his voice kind of overhyped new survey suggests lower adoption than previously thought. And the fact is that both perspectives are probably right. It really is beauty in the eye of the beholder here. So you know, there are quite a few consumers in the survey, and you guys can go out and grab it Sumo heavy produced it. It’s easy to find via Google. And so if you look at that the survey results. Survey shopping is on the rise. That’s true. And on the rise from what looks like a fairly low number. So I’ll leave you guys to interpret the results for yourself and see whether you’re a glass half full or glass half empty, but shopping is on the rise, although still, folks are not doing a lot of shopping out there via commerce. And that’s not a huge huge surprise, I don’t think I think once we begin to really integrate some multimodal shopping experiences where voice augments and reduces friction in the commerce experience. And yet we’re still able to kind of see things on in a multimodal experience. I think that’s where we’re going to see voice shopping really take off. So thanks for joining us guys.
