Replica Studios Creating Voice Replicas for Art
Alright, hey guys, Mark Phillips with SimpliSpoken This is the SimpliSpoken on Voice Daily Flash Briefing, and we’re back again talking about a company that is developing some technology that allows you to synthesize or replicate voices and fittingly enough, they’re called replica studios, I believe they’re based in Australia. And so they have their in beta, they’re basically inviting invite only early access to replica studios. And what they’re basically doing is they cast their vision for these replicas to be basically developed to empower creative people. And so they can replicate the human voice with a few minutes of speech. And they’ve done their training for that using audio from YouTube interviews. So again, we see that YouTube is kind of an interesting resource that we see a lot of folks use, including folks that are trying to do interesting things with algorithms that detect even cardiac events. And so they use YouTube as a source of data or training data. And the more data you have, the better the voices sound, that may be into folks but the AI and the algorithms get they produce a better output when they have more data. And so these guys are developing again a technology that could be used for bad right hackers, scammers, deep fakes, but they’re also developing a technology that can be used for good and so they can help creators with synthetic AR tools that can help us go further and get better in a good way. So just wanted to give a shout out to those guys because they’re doing interesting work. So this is the SimpliSpoken on Voice Daily Flash Briefing, please do hop over to skill store and give us a good review. Thanks, guys.
