Microsoft’s Tech Can Make Your Hologram Speak Another Language
Alright, hey guys, Mark Phillips with SimpliSpoken back again for another SimpliSpoken on Voice Daily Flash Briefing. And we’re talking today about a very cool futuristic kind of technology recently presented by Microsoft at their inspire partner conference that demonstrates how they can actually make a hologram speak for you another language, so they had a Microsoft exec get up on stage and demonstrate this lifelike hologram. And then that life like hologram speaks in Japanese, and this Exec doesn’t speak Japanese. So it was really cool. So use this kind of mixed reality technology in this text to speech technology. And so mixed reality kind of a cool sort of thing. It’s not virtual reality, it’s a mixed reality experience. And so they use their HoloLens technology and this neural text to speech technology to make it seem like the executive was speaking in Japanese with some of a personalized voice signature. So really, we are now in the Star Trek age of the future, right? We can now we can deliver this sort of almost Babel fish translation in real-time. And that is again, rocket science. Cool. So Wow, big stuff. So check it out. Check it out. Good work by Microsoft with their HoloLens technology there. This is the SimpliSpoken on Voice Daily Flash Briefing. Thank you.
